Illinois-based NAA “power couple,” Mike and Noelle Lewantowicz, have built an impressive agency that is consistently ranked at the top of National Agents Alliance’s leaderboards in both sales and recruiting.
Just like many others, the Lewantowiczs never thought they would succeed in their new endeavor as insurance agents. But, they soon proved themselves and everyone else wrong.
Noelle was born and raised in the Dayton, Ohio area, while Mike Lewantowicz, who is the son of an Air Force officer, lived in 15 different cities. Noelle later attended the University of Cincinnati, where she majored in economics, while Mike enrolled at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and focused on electrical engineering. Following graduation, Mike found a job as a Control Systems Engineer and Noelle landed a job as a purchasing agent. Noelle soon noticed a decline in the tech industry and decided it was time for a change, and that change was National Agents Alliance.
Initially Noelle was taking home $300-800 a week, which was enough to convince Mike that NAA could be something both of them could dive into. Together, Noelle and Mike set out to make an impact within the company and began to build their agency with their own funds.
“While growing the business, it was not always peaches and cream, we were able to grow the business without any up front capital,” Mike said. “The income from our personal production was enough to cover our living expenses and fund our growth. We made several sacrifices and intentionally delayed some things like the purchase of a new car and the purchase of a new home so that we could reinvest the money in our business. Now we have a beautiful home, are debt free, and are focused on helping agents.”
The Lewantowiczs lent the following advice for new agents on how to make their own mark at National Agents Alliance:
“Develop a game plan, review it each month. Make sure you are sitting down with an agency leader that is growing and has the ability to coach you. Take advantage of the educational system – it’s FREE.”
Since gaining financial independence, Mike and Noelle are able to set their own hours, allowing them to enjoy their family — Emily, Erin and Elise — and stay active in their faith. Because of this freedom, the Lewantowiczs are able to enjoy trips together to places like Hawaii, Grand Cayman, Bermuda, Orlando and Tucson.
Mike also sits on the Board of Directors for a private school that focuses on forming tomorrow’s leaders, while running the business and keeping up with her children’s education keeps Noelle busy.
The Lewantowiczs certainly have a very bright future ahead with their amazing family.
