BURLINGTON, N.C. – National Agents Alliance will host its final “Get Your Ship Together” Spring Forward this week at its corporate headquarters, with NAA President and CEO Andy Albright kicking the event off at 1 p.m. on Friday.
Hundreds of insurance agents from across the United States will converge for three days of highly-specialized training and coaching on industry trends, products and strategies to improve their respective business. The Spring Forward will help stimulate the local Burlington economy as agents will rent hotel rooms and make other purchases during the weekend.
“We are excited to host an event in Burlington not far from where I grew up and we expect a great turnout this weekend,” Albright said. “I’m excited to bring together so many of our top people at our headquarters, and I also look forward to meeting a lot of new faces that have joined The Alliance.”
Prior to Friday’s kickoff, a special meeting for District Managers and above will be held at the home of Andy and Jane Albright on Thursday afternoon. Registration for the event opens at 8 a.m. Friday at NAA headquarters at 1214 Turrentine St. NAA will open all vendor booths and its store at 8 a.m., a managers meeting is scheduled for 8:30 a.m., the Lead Performance Team will hold an Introduction to Lead Certification class and Matt Rettick will host a free annuity training for agents at 10 a.m. A President’s Club Night Owl will wrap up Friday’s activities at 11 p.m. for its members.
Friday and Saturday will also feature some of NAA’s top leaders covering various topics related to helping people protect their families through financial products. The event is designed for agents at all levels and offers educational opportunities to help become successful in life insurance sales. The three-day event wraps up Sunday around noon.
Albright, who will be joined on stage by NAA first lady Jane Albright, co-founded National Agents Alliance in 2002.
Matthew Rettick, the founder and CEO of Covenant Retirement Planning, LLC and author of “Growth Without Risk,” will deliver a lecture on annuities and retirement planning in Los Angeles and Burlington.
The Goads, a family whose mission is to help less fortunate people around the world, will perform musical entertainment and Tim Goad will lead an optional worship service on Sunday morning.
The event is the second in a series of “Get Your Ship Together” national and regional events scheduled as a part of NAA’s year-long theme for 2013.
“We’ve planned this event to provide our agents with all the tools they need to be successful in the field and help people across America,” Albright said. “We feel like our events serve as a catalyst for our agents’ businesses to take off in 2013.”
