National Agents Alliance and Foresters gave of their time to participate at the 15th annual radiothon for Duke Children’s Hospital and Health center.
“I enjoyed the experience. It certainly puts life in prospective to see and hear about all of the gravely ill children,” said NAA staff member Toni Render
Another NAA staff member, Leslie Russell was also touched by the individual stories of the children, “A lady working with the hospital brought around a container holding 27 prescriptions. They were for a little girl so she could finally leave the hospital. The thing is, she is only 8 months old. A little part of the money that has been raised was to help that family bring their little girl home.”
This is NAA’s third time participating at the radiothon by donating their time to answer the phones and take pledges.
“It’s a privilege to work with an insurance company like Foresters who knows the importance of keeping families well and keeping them together. Participating in this radiothon truly shows NAA that what we do is so valuable in keeping families together.” said Andy Albright, President and CEO of National Agents Alliance.
Foresters is one of NAA’s prime carriers and is a sponsor for this annual event.
At the conclusion of the 15th Annual Radiothon for Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center, the three-day total came to $1,031,431.
