National Agents Alliance set to team up with Foresters for school upgrades in Grand Cayman

BURLINGTON, N.C. – National Agents Alliance and Foresters are preparing to make life a little better for young residents of the Frances Bodden Home for Girls in Grand Cayman on Friday.

The Alliance, a life insurance marketing organization, and 106 volunteers will participate in Foresters’ “Delivering the Difference” program, during an annual trip to recognize top sales agents. The volunteer effort aims to improve the quality of life for others in countries that host the meeting. During the week, volunteers will spruce up new gardens, sports facilities will be upgraded, new sports equipment will be donated and fresh coats of paint will be applied throughout the home. The materials and supplies will add a $15,000 upgrade to the home.

National Agents Alliance is a life insurance marketing organization that partners with insurance carriers like Foresters, an international life insurance provider committed to the well-being of families.

“Every time we participate in an effort like this we end up feeling like we got far more from it than we put into it,” NAA President and CEO Andy Albright said. “I can’t wait to see the looks on the children’s faces when they see what upgrades we’ve given them for their home. Little things like this truly make a difference in the lives of others and we are excited to spend some time at the home this week.”

The Bodden Home for Girls provides a safe, nurturing environment for girls between ages 12 to 17 and for boys younger than 11 years old. The program helps children from “less than ideal” backgrounds live a more “normal” upbringing. The children participate in programs and community-based activities such as youth groups, recreational activities, arts and crafts and have the opportunity to attend church on Sundays. The home is supported with funding by local government, but relies heavily on the generosity of outside organizations like Foresters to help with necessary upgrades to the facility.

Upon completion this week, NAA and Foresters will have helped improve the home, athletic fields, a shade house and the new gardens. Other upgrades will include: new bathroom mirrors, office equipment and fresh coats of paint. Another plus is the volunteers will leave books and board games for the children to enjoy for years to come.
