Dallas, T.X. – Last year, The Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon broadcasted on KVIL 103.7 Lite FM live from Cook Children’s Medical Center on raised more than $370,000.
This year, December 13th – 15th, broadcasted on KVIL 103.7 Lite FM live from Dallas Children’s Medical Center – the radiothon raised over $787,000!!
Each year, Radiothon touches many hearts. It allows us to reach out to our community in a meaningful way. And most importantly, Radiothon affords us the privilege of meeting amazing kids and families we will never forget.
Children’s Medical Center Dallas is private, not-for-profit, and is one of the largest pediatric health care providers in the nation. As the only academic health care facility in North Texas dedicated exclusively to the comprehensive care of children from birth to age 18, Children’s provides patient care ranging from simple eye exams to specialized treatment in areas such as heart disease, hematology-oncology and cystic fibrosis. In addition, Children’s is a major pediatric kidney, liver, intestine, heart and bone marrow transplant center.
Cook Children’s Medical Center in Ft. Worth, Texas provides medical and surgical care to the children of Fort Worth, North and West Texas. Cook Children’s provides more than 35 medical specialties, plus nationally recognized services for newborns as well as for children with cancer, heart disease and lung ailments. Cook Children’s includes a 24-hour emergency department, community/regional clinics, a pediatric physician network, and home health services.
There were over 20 NAA volunteers working the phones to raise money for these amazing facilities that do not turn away any children needing medical attention! Make plans to join us next year to help raise even more money for these children’s hospitals…
